Cyclops lesion of ACL

정의: 관절경하 전방십자인대 재건술 시 에 전방십자인대의 경골부착부를 완전히 제거하지 않으면, 남아 있는 remnant가 경골 터널(tunnel)에서 이식된 전방십자인대의 앞에서 섬유성 또는 연골성 notch를 형성하여, notch의 roof에 재건된 전방십자 인대가 감입(impingement)되어 슬관절의 완전 신전을 방해하는 구조물을 말한다.

*Cyclops lesion방지하기 위한 방법
1. Posterior placement of tiial tunnel within the native ACL foot print
2. Adequate notchplasty(신전과 관련)
3. Meticulous removal of overhanging cartilagenous margin & bony debris around the graft after insertion
4. early restoration of full extension following surgery
